Job Description About the Team Our EMEA Delivery organisation is growing in line with business demand and is at the heart of SS&C Client Delivery & Organisational Transformation. We are currently recruiting Business Analysts & Senior Business Analysts for our international BA Practice where you’ll have the opportunity to deliver complex and challenging change programmes for our customers both internally and externally, across a range of business portfolios. Our initiatives range from new client onboarding, corporate transformation, regulatory change, servicing our existing clients and operational optimisation. About the Role This role will provide the right person with a genuine opportunity to help shape the future of change within the organisation and offers hybrid working with required travel to one of our UK offices (Basildon, London, Lichfield or Stirling). We are looking for an individual who can lead on all aspects of analysis activity at the relevant level, engage with both internal & external client-facing stakeholders, and deliver high-quality BA deliverables consumable to our product & delivery teams. The BA / SBA will: Support the ideation of new requests, leading the discovery and due diligence analysis phases to ensure solid foundations are set; Lead the elicitation and documentation of business outcomes & stakeholder needs; Lead and facilitate meetings & workshops and confidently present to key stakeholders & clients; Work closely with and act as the conduit between design, architecture and delivery teams maintaining focus on building client-centric solutions; Identify operational impacts and support operational readiness activities to ensure change is embedded successfully; Provide outcome-based reporting on team or delivery progress in the format required by the programme team; Lead and mentor other more junior members of the team to support the growth of a high-performing team (applicable to SBA); Continually share external & internal BA knowledge & experience to boost the evolution of the BA Practice. About Your Skills and Experience Essential: Experience operating in an analysis-based role with a full appreciation for BA techniques and the various frameworks i.e. Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, etc. Strong stakeholder management skills including client-facing experience, working well with others throughout the organisation at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communicator. Proven champion of change and motivator of others. Self-motivated with the ability to lead and take ownership. Naturally curious with the desire to constantly improve the status quo. Offer personal agility when responding to change in business demands and lead the way for those more resistant to change. Constantly perform to the best of their ability and encourage others to do the same focused on quality deliverables. Strong desire to support the continued growth of the BA Practice and the company’s strategic goals. Desired: Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, IT or related area. Relevant & industry recognised BA Qualifications provided by BCS, IIBA, ISEB, CBAP, etc. Financial services experience, particularly within fund administration, asset management, wealth or life & pensions. Experience working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones. Previous experience line managing or mentoring others (applicable to SBA).
