Job Description -
The Technical Business Analyst will bridge the gap between IT and business teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and processes. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, a deep understanding of IT systems, and experience in both business analysis and software development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
o Understand User needs, what do they do as part of their daily routine and establish a end to end approach and convert it into user stories.
o Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, Product Owners, product managers, Scrum Team) to gather detailed technical and business requirements.
o Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT development teams.
o Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions to collect feedback and refine requirements.
o Understand the end to end product workflow.
Process Analysis & Design:
o Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to streamline processes.
o Create detailed process maps, use cases, workflows, and functional documentation to illustrate business needs.
o Ensure that proposed solutions meet both technical and business objectives.
Technical Documentation:
o Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical requirements, data flow diagrams, functional design documents, and user stories.
o Work with software developers to ensure clear understanding of the technical specifications and support in designing the best solution.
Data Analysis:
o Analyze and interpret large datasets, generating insights to help inform decision-making processes.
o Use of SQL, Excel, and other tools to perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
Project Support & Stakeholder Management:
o Support project management activities, including developing project timelines, tracking progress, and identifying risks.
o Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
o Foster strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, managing expectations and communicating changes clearly.
o Agile, its frameworks and processes like Scrum, Program Increment, Dependencies and other ceremonies within Scrum.
o Understand BRAG and provide weekly updates to stakeholders.
o Participate & Run Show and Tell / Sprint Review / Floor walking sessions of the delivered feature and bridge the gaps if needed.
o Understand the Private Beta / Public Beta / Go live process.
