Software Business Analyst

acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT development team. They analyze business processes, identify needs, and develop strategies to improve business processes using software solutions. They ensure that software development aligns with business objectives and requirements. As a Business Analyst, your work will focus on these responsibilities: Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements. Document and translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories. Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between the business side and the development team. Facilitate communication and ensure mutual understanding between stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate priorities. Project Management Support: Support project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities. Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and milestones. Monitor project progress and address issues that may arise. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Experience and knowledge of Marine Industry, Port Operation will be an asset. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Why you and us?
