Located at the European Divisional Support Centre in Irvine, Ayrshire, this 12-to-15-month placement position will report to a key member of the Information Technology Department. This position is available for Hybrid Working. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Contributes to the development of effective partnerships with the business to provide technology solutions that deliver value-added business benefits, recommend business solutions, and provide specialist technical expertise. Participates in the review and analysis of business information to determine efficient solutions. Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of business requirements and recommends solutions to management that enable the organisation to achieve its goals. Follows the complete requirements of the System Development Life Cycle and assures alignment from definition phase through to proper and complete documentation phase. Executes process redesign and improvement activities, including incorporating 'best practices' approaches. Delivers solutions that align with ongoing business strategy and ensures that project deliverables are met according to specifications and to the satisfaction of the customer. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Candidates should be students working towards a Degree in Systems/Business Analyst related courses. Candidates must have good customer-focused skills to correspond effectively. Candidates should be competent in Microsoft Office and have application of systems knowledge base. Candidates should be able to work enthusiastically and efficiently within a team. Additional languages would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be subject to background checks.
