The Strategy and Business Development department is a key part of the Sales Organization in EMEA, working directly with the EMEA GM, the Regional Sales Organisations, Channel and Product Organisations to provide actionable strategies and tactics, based on a thorough external and internal data analysis, to further grow the Zebra business in the Region. The primary purpose of the Business and Competitive Intelligence Analyst II is to build, develop and maintain a consistent overview of the competitive environment for our core, adjacent and expansion businesses, including a deep understanding of the different go to market strategies of our competitors. In addition, the candidate will produce complex reports and dashboards, as well as deliver timely and accurate data analysis and insights used in management reporting and other ad-hoc analyses that enable key business processes and decisions.

Responsibilities: Conduct competitive intelligence in the form of both desk research (financial reports, company publications, websites, external vendor studies, etc.) and investigative primary research (interviews with competitors, distributors, resellers, customers at trade shows, events, etc. – traveling involved). Potential cooperation with 3rd party consultancies as appropriate. Analyse collected competitive and market insights; provide extensive and detailed data analyses related to business performance. Compile reports with appealing visuals and clear messaging. Articulate actionable conclusions and recommendations. Own, produce and maintain multiple reports and develop appropriate analytics & presentations. Drive complex analysis in an evolving data environment. Run regular product performance review with Regional Product Managers and or Regional Sales Leaders in order to identify potential red flags and improvement areas. Provide ad hoc support with data analytics as part of multiple business processes (i.e. Long Range Planning). Cooperate with Finance and Sales Operations to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Support and cooperate with Head of Strategy to ensure early warnings are identified and appropriate corrective actions are taken. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: BS Degree in Business or related field. 2-5 years of experience in Market Research or Sales Operations. Outgoing personality for proactive outreach to competitors and other market participants. Professional curiosity. Strong analytical skills and critical thinking. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Sense for big picture and yet attention to details. Goal-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Highly structured (mindset and work habits). Strong to expert level experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (incl. data management), experience in Power BI a plus. English native speaker level, additional language a plus. Accountable team player able to work autonomously. Benefits: 25 days of vacation.
