Smile Education Leicester is recruiting for a Teacher of Business Studies and Economics to join a good sixth form college in central Leicester from January 2025. The college is open to applications from ECTs, experienced QTS teachers, or FE trained instructors, as long as candidates have recent, proven experience teaching the UK or equivalent Business and Economics curriculum up to KS5.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, marking, and teaching across both KS4 and KS5 Business and Economics. You’ll be joining a small, supportive department made up of 2 teachers and 1 Head of Department. Resources at the college will be shared and accessible, and the school has an excellent reputation for providing an engaging learning environment where students thrive. Subject knowledge is of the highest importance as students are highly motivated to learn and excel.
Interviews, trial lessons, and informal discussions with the college can be arranged immediately.
Pay rates will be competitive with daily rates available between £160 - £240 per day PAYE dependant on experience.
