What You'll Do We're seeking an innovative and experienced Business Assurance Manager to join our Maidenhead office. You will be part of Volvo Car UK's Engagement, Development, and Internal Controls team, responsible for developing and implementing a quality business assurance framework that delivers a premium experience for both consumers and employees. Collaborating closely with Compliance and People Experience teams, you will maintain regulatory compliance— notably with the Financial Conduct Authority— and ensure effective governance. Your role will involve clear communication, fostering competence, and equipping stakeholders with the information needed to take corrective actions. This is a pivotal role ensuring our market grows sustainably, safely, and in alignment with our human-centric values. Key Responsibilities Governance and Business Assurance Management Develop and manage a quality management program to ensure conformance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Work with stakeholders to create and maintain up-to-date frameworks. Prepare Internal Control Reports and Monthly Management Information packs. Develop templates for business outcomes and ensure proper documentation. Establish new standards for clarity and structured operations. Continuous Improvement Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business assurance and governance activities. Provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements. Skills and Experience Required Skills: Relevant qualification (e.g., COSO, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, ISO 9001). Extensive management and business assurance experience in a regulated environment. Operational, compliance, and internal audit expertise. Strong data analytics and critical analysis skills. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills. Proven organisational and coordination abilities. System-thinking capabilities with attention to detail. Degree-level education or equivalent. Ability to handle sensitive data securely and appropriately. Preferred Skills: Experience in FCA-regulated environments.
