Business Case Lead What to expect

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Strategy and Transformation Function as we look to scale and transform the Post Office network for future generations. As a Business Case Analyst you will support the development of Green Book-compliant business cases for major projects at Post Office Ltd. This role will primarily focus on preparation of economic cases, in collaboration with a wider team to deliver Five-Case-Model Business Cases, as well as developing monitoring and evaluation plans, and benefits realisation plans. What you’ll need to succeed

Experience in economic analysis, business case development and evaluation, preferably within a Green Book framework or wider public sector context. Strong background in economic modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and impact assessment methodologies. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. An ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time, working flexibly as required and delivering projects within defined timeframes. Excellent verbal and written communication, with a proven ability to present complex economic concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. Competent knowledge of HM Treasury’s Green Book guidelines, evaluation techniques, and economic appraisal methodologies. About us
