6 months (High possibility of extension) JOB SUMMARY: The Business Case Project Manager will lead high-impact, complex projects within the Building Berkshire Together (BBT) Programme, overseeing the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing timelines, budgets, quality, and stakeholder relationships, while driving process improvements for healthcare facility transformation. Five elements of a business case: Strategic context Economic analysis Commercial approach Financial case Management approach RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead planning, execution, and closure of BBT projects. Develop detailed project plans, managing scope, timelines, and resources. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring alignment with programme goals. Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage interdependencies. Prepare regular updates for senior management and stakeholders. Oversee change management and resource alignment. Foster team collaboration and ensure high performance. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Proven experience in managing complex projects, especially in design and construction. Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management skills. Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Smart Sheets). Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Experience in fast-paced project environments, particularly in healthcare or public sector. Familiarity with NHS policies, procedures, and standards. Ability to travel between sites as required. Knowledge of design and construction processes in healthcare. EDUCATION: Essential: Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, MSP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma). Desirable: Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
