Three Year Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity. Hackney's Housing Service is entering a period of exciting change, beginning the implementation of NEC Housing as the next phase of our cyber-attack recovery whilst ensuring the services we deliver are truly resident-centric. To do this, we are building a multidisciplinary team across our Housing and ICT teams blending expertise in social housing, service design, data and technology. The team will work with colleagues across the Housing service to deliver improved services for residents. In this role, you'll be leading business change activity for new and redesigned services to understand user needs and technical requirements, identify opportunities to better serve residents, and support staff through the subsequent change and technology adoption. You will have experience of working as a Business Analyst in multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and build services, improve service delivery, and fully embed change in operational teams, all in a social housing context. You'll be proficient in process mapping, identifying areas for improvement by developing insights from multiple data sources. Just as important as your background is your mindset - we're committed to putting residents at the heart of what we do and designing and delivering inclusive services that work for everyone. You'll need to be committed to doing the best for local people and share our values of being open and inclusive, ambitious and proud, and pioneering and proactive. Hackney is one of London's most diverse and exciting communities. With a new Corporate Transformation Strategy adopted and a cross-council transformation programme being developed, there's never been a more exciting time to work in Hackney. We are also working towards our vision, which is to be a place for everyone; where residents and staff can be proud; a place that celebrates diversity and where everyone can feel valued, included, and involved. In order to achieve this, we look for people who are: Proud; Ambitious; Pioneering; Open; Proactive; Inclusive. Hackney Council works to eradicate discrimination on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. We also welcome those interested in flexible working. We particularly welcome applications from disabled people, as this group is currently underrepresented in our workforce.
