An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Business Change & Engagement Officer to join their welcoming team.

The Business Change & Engagement Officer Role: Support the Change and Engagement Workstream’s activities across both the MyCO Programme and the cross-government Matrix Programme, reporting regularly on progress. Support the Head of Change and Engagement, the Business Change Lead and the Programme Director in articulating the case for change, and its associated benefits, to a range of stakeholders across the business. They will need to maintain continual focus on realising beneficial change. Ensure effective internal engagement with a broad range of stakeholders, shaping and developing engagement and communications materials, and acting as a key advocate for the Programme. Implement and manage an effective Change Network to ensure all areas of the department are involved in, and prepared, for changes to ways of working. Maintain key Business Change documentation including the Business Change Plan, based on the Business Change Management Strategy, and other key products like Value Propositions and User Personas. Co-deliver Business Change activities, in agreement with the Head of Change and Engagement, Business Change Lead and Programme Director, working closely with delivery partners including other government departments and third-party suppliers. Identify and escalate any risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the Business Change activity and manage them as necessary.

The Business Change & Engagement Officer Need: CTC, SC or DV clearance Ability to identify, analyse and communicate with stakeholders to ensure those impacted are engaged effectively throughout the life of the Programme Excellent relationship management skills, strong verbal/written communication skills, and experience of influencing at all levels to ensure stakeholders are engaged effectively Driven, focused, and able to deliver at pace in a complex and often-changing delivery landscape. Extensive experience of supporting organisations through complex policy and/or technological transformation / business change is required Business Change Project Management Stakeholder engagement Desirable: Experience of business benefits identification and tracking.
