Opportunity Are you an experienced Business Change professional ready to lead transformative projects within a multi-programme, IT-focused environment? Do you excel in managing complex business change workstreams, delivering measurable benefits, and mentoring teams to achieve exceptional outcomes?

We're seeking a Business Change Lead to join the Digital and IT team supporting the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Operational IT Programme. This role is pivotal in implementing and improving the Business Change strategy across an 80-strong team delivering functional and technical change for one of the UK's most ambitious energy infrastructure projects.

Principal Accountabilities Strategic Oversight:

Support the Business Change Manager in refining and implementing the Business Change strategy across programmes and projects. Delivery Management:

Oversee multiple business change workstreams embedded within projects, working closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers. Quality Assurance:

Ensure the quality of Business Change deliverables and foster best practices across programmes and projects. Intelligent Oversight:

Provide strategic guidance on deliverables from digital partners and systems integrators, ensuring alignment with programme goals. Resource Management:

Manage external Business Change resources, tracking costs alongside Project Managers to align with business cases. Benefits Realisation:

Ensure all Digital Business Cases include clear business benefits with measurable KPIs for tracking performance. Reporting:

Report Business Change performance to the Business Change Manager, ensuring visibility and accountability. Team Leadership:

Mentor and manage junior team members as required, fostering professional growth and strong team dynamics.

About you You are a seasoned Business Change professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale change initiatives, preferably in IT environments. You thrive in complex, high-stakes settings and possess exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Extensive experience managing multiple business change workstreams within a multi-million-pound change portfolio. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Proven leadership capabilities, with excellent communication (written and oral) skills. Expertise in coordinating business change across diverse programmes. Ability to coach and mentor junior team members effectively. Industry-recognised qualifications (e.g., Prosci, APMG Change Management). Degree qualified or equivalent experience. Experience in nuclear, energy, construction, or manufacturing industries is desirable.

What You'll Need Minimum of five years' experience managing and delivering the people side of change. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to assure and oversee external business change teams. Membership in professional organisations such as ACPM or CMI is a bonus.
