We are looking for a Business Coordinator to join our Estates team. Reporting to the Director of Performance and Programme Management, this role will focus on ensuring the efficient operation of the Estates function through coordination of communication, events, recruitment, and team development activities. You will deliver internal communications to keep team members informed and engaged, while also organising and managing key events such as leadership forums and staff huddles. In this role, you will support recruitment and HR processes, ensuring that onboarding and professional development are seamless and effective. Additionally, you will coordinate staff training initiatives, appraisals, and other development programs to foster growth and engagement across the team. Collaboration with the finance business partner will be an important aspect of the role, coordinating the reporting and approval processes. You will also drive key projects aimed at enhancing team culture and well-being. This hybrid role is based in central London and offers an agile working environment, providing the opportunity to work both on-site and remotely. About you
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced setting. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Your organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively will ensure smooth and efficient team operations. You will have experience working with stakeholders across various levels, from junior staff to senior leadership, and will bring a customer-focused mindset and a "can-do" attitude to the role. While experience in project management would be an advantage, it is not essential. If you have the drive, creativity, and commitment to contribute to our dynamic team, we would love to hear from you. What we offer
As well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer some great benefits: 41 Days holiday (27 days annual leave, 8 bank holiday, and 6 closure days). Additional 5 days’ annual leave purchase scheme. Defined benefit career average revalued earnings pension scheme (CARE). Cycle to work scheme and season ticket loan. Relocation scheme for certain posts. On-site gym. Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay. Employee assistance programme: Staff Support Service. Our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
As London’s Global University, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation, and we want our community to represent the diversity of the world’s talent. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where we all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in UCL’s workforce, including people from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds; disabled people; LGBTQI+ people; and for our Grade 9 and 10 roles, women.
