We have a great opportunity for an immediately available Business Data Analyst to join a well-established company based near Chichester for a 3-6-month interim contract. Previous experience in data analysis and reporting is essential along with excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI. They offer a hybrid working pattern with 3 x days per week in the office along with a competitive rate of pay. Responsibilities: Reporting: Manage, update, and maintain data reports to ensure accuracy Power BI Updates: Regularly update Power BI dashboards and maintain SharePoint integrations Input Sample Reports: Enter, analyse, and verify sampling data into relevant systems Mass Balance Analysis Perform MRF mass balance calculations Conduct comparative analysis between mass balance and sampling results Sample Scheduling: Organise & maintain sampling schedule Highlight key data points for reports ePRN Management: Raise ePRNs to ensure compliance Ad-hoc Data Analysis: Provide ad-hoc data support and insights as required Manage SharePoint, Apps, and BI access requests and updates Coordinate the setup of new materials and yearly trade price updates Manage effective relationships with key stakeholders in the business Conduct MRF mass balance analysis for billing Implement price changes Requirements: Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, or similar roles Knowledge of compliance and MRF operations is an advantage Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data management and reporting Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder engagement Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve data and system-related issues effectively
