Our client, a leading company in the financial services industry, is seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join their dynamic team in the BI & Data Services department. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements and leveraging data to achieve desired outcomes. You will collaborate with data engineers and BI developers to ensure high-quality solutions are built. Responsibilities: Understand the business landscape and prioritise requirements Gather and elaborate on business requirements Analyse and interpret data Work with development teams to translate requirements into design Present data through reporting and visualisation tools Coordinate testing and obtain end-user sign-off Maintain data/report documentation Evaluate outcomes and identify training needs Requirements: Strong understanding of business operations Excellent business analytical skills Experience with BI tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and proactive Keen attention to detail Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and external partners Our client offers a supportive work environment that encourages personal development and fosters growth.
