We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Consultant to join the ever-growing team of a dynamic workspace brokerage in the City of London area.

Our client specializes in matching businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs with flexible workspace solutions (private, managed, serviced/coworking), primarily in London. They also provide workspace design and build consultancy services.

This company is seeking exceptional business development professionals with 1-2 years of experience in ANY SECTOR who have:

Experience in sourcing/generating their own leads Experience in cold-calling to find and convert their own business leads Experience in telesales

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Self-generate transactional opportunities across all company business lines, and other partner organizations, with a primary focus on flexible office brokerage. Identify targets and create opportunities using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools. Build credible long-term relationships with clients and generate repeat business. Work with leads provided to book meetings and work towards a transaction. Continuously strive to increase own virtual and physical networks, promoting the company and its services within those networks. Target and work with third-party organizations to share information, generate inbound referrals, and facilitate the giving of referrals. Take ownership and responsibility for all leads under control; ensuring actions are being completed in a timely manner. Close multiple self-generated deals from the above-mentioned pipeline from start to finish, as required. Continuously increase knowledge and understanding of various market sectors to improve client relationships and conversion. Continuously increase knowledge of the flexible office market and commercial real estate market to improve client advice and conversion. Provide accurate reporting to line managers and the wider business as required. Keep accurate records of activity and timely population of the CRM(s) with client information and action history & planned actions. Act in the best interests of the company at all times and communicate any challenges limiting this in a timely manner. Create excellent internal working relationships with the business and help to make your role and the wider business successful. Achieve and exceed KPIs set out for performance. Learn and have fun.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1-2 years B2B or B2C business development experience in any sector 1 year minimum of cold-calling/telesales experience in any sector Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Comfortable communicating with clients over the phone with the ability to work to deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity Ability to prioritize among competing tasks Ability to self-manage and work as part of a team Office search sales experience is preferred but not necessary as training can be provided.
