Business Development Director | FMCG Packaging Machinery | UK | £120k - £150k basic + OTE 50% bonus A leading provider of innovative packaging machinery designed to help FMCG manufacturers in the food, beverage, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries achieve their sustainability goals. State-of-the-art solutions include innovative stretch wrapping technology empowering businesses to significantly reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and align with net-zero targets while maintaining operational efficiency. As Business Development Director you will be responsible for: Developing and executing strategic growth to grow market share in the FMCG sector, focusing on food, beverage, and pharmaceutical clients Identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities, leveraging deep industry knowledge to meet and exceed sales targets Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at a senior level Advocate for the company’s innovative packaging solutions, emphasizing their environmental and cost-saving benefits to align with clients' sustainability targets Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales team to support business growth and customer satisfaction Key attributes required: Extensive experience in business development within the packaging machinery industry Strong understanding of the FMCG industry; food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors, including their sustainability challenges and opportunities Consultative sales approach; ability to communicate the technical advantages of advanced packaging machinery Passionate about environmental innovation and capable of aligning product benefits with clients' sustainability objectives Strong project management skills, analytical with a focus on long-term growth and market positioning An opportunity that won’t be around for long, do contact us today!
