Competitive package + Benefits We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Director to spearhead new business initiatives across the Levy sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in generating and securing new business bids that drive both sales and profitability, ensuring we meet and exceed targets. You will manage all stages of the sales process with confidence and competence, from pipeline management, initial appointments, and site surveys, through to proposal compilation, presentations, and securing signed contracts. Post-contract, you will ensure a seamless handover to our operational team, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. As Business Development Director you will:

Lead the development of winning bids and income-generating opportunities, consistently hitting agreed targets. Create and execute a client relationship-driven Business Development Plan tailored for our Levy clients. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts and potential partners to enhance Levy’s market presence. Manage the business development pipeline and bid process in collaboration with the Bid Manager and Bid Finance Manager. Leverage central marketing initiatives to amplify Levy’s profile within the sector. Oversee the production of high-quality, tailored proposal documents and client communications. Utilize our CRM system to meticulously record client interactions, project opportunities, and manage the pipeline effectively. Stay informed on industry trends and issues to ensure Levy’s offerings remain competitive and innovative. Organize and lead webinars, write articles, and create other opportunities to establish Levy as a thought leader in the stadia and events market. Actively seek cross-selling opportunities and support the extension of services into new geographies. The successful Business Development Director will have:

Senior-level experience in business development or service procurement within the stadia and events sector, particularly in foodservice and retail. Strong credibility and established relationships with key client contacts in the stadia and events industry. Proven ability to develop and nurture effective business relationships. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience in producing high-quality proposals and tender documents. Adept at working within long sales cycles. Professional, confident, and able to think on your feet. Passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends and flexible in problem-solving. Sound commercial understanding, with the ability to create financially sound, winning proposals. Requirements:
