A Business Development Executive with relevant experience is needed to join our sales team at entrust IT Group, a leading Managed Services Provider based in Hampshire, on a full-time basis. A Business Development Executive is expected to drive new business acquisitions and work to win new business in the regional area around our Aldershot office. They will report directly to the Commercial Director. The Business Development Executive will be expected to acquire new business using a combination of telephone sales calls, following up leads generated by the marketing team, and local events and meetings. This role provides excellent earning potential with OTE of £40k - £45k. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your sales career with a well-established company! About the Role The entrust IT Group are looking for a hard-working and motivated Business Development Executive to work out of our Aldershot regional office. The company seeks a Business Development Executive who can build up our customer base in our Central region, within a 30-mile radius of our Aldershot Regional Office. These areas include: North Hampshire Surrey Berkshire South-West London The role entails overseeing a diverse array of duties, prominently focused on Sales Processing (75%), Account Management (20%), and Administration (5%). Key Responsibilities: To locate new business opportunities using telephone sales To follow up on leads provided by the marketing team To conduct sales meetings in person and via video conference To ensure our CRM system is kept up to date with the latest information on sales leads To hit sales performance targets To conduct regularly scheduled account management calls/meetings with customers Use customer relationships to drive upsell opportunities To advise the marketing team on growth opportunities to target To grow our presence in our regional area Required Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, relaxed telephone manner, quick thinking, and ability to work independently A willingness to work hard to develop a network of contacts and sales opportunities Knowledge of the IT/Technology industry A can-do attitude and an ability to work mostly unsupervised Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal Good telephone manner Required Experience: Experience in a commercial setting Experience in sales in the context of IT & Technology is preferable but not essential GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent) - C or above Other additional GCSEs at C or above (or equivalent) ECDL Full UK Driving Licence Benefits: Minimum 22 days holiday, with days added every year of service On-site free parking Company pension Free uniform, free food, drinks, and other refreshments Opportunities for CPD and on-the-job training Leadership development plans and training Mileage allowance Sounds interesting?
