Specifically, we’re looking for a motivated Business Development Executive who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive head-first into the following: Identify new business opportunities to drive growth and establish strong relationships with new commercial clients. Build a focused, profitable pipeline, set goals and aggressively work to achieve targets. Conduct engaging sales presentations to potential clients and articulate the value of the battleface proposition. Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate records of client interactions. Work with multiple teams (including underwriting, engineering, product, marketing, and operations) toward a common goal to ensure partner success. Attend events as needed, speak up, make suggestions, and produce. About You:
This position is for a team player with a deep understanding of the insurance industry. Using proven people skills and a passion for sales, the perfect candidate can balance maintaining current business relationships and securing new ones. Previous experience in commercial business development roles with the ability to negotiate, convert leads, and meet sales targets. Travel Insurance background in direct sales strongly preferred. Traveltech, fintech, or insurtech background is a bonus. Motivated self-starter, strong entrepreneurial and ownership mindset, and a positive, team-player attitude. Extensive knowledge of what drives insurance risk and ability to identify key attributes of a desirable distribution partner. Manage time effectively. Must be comfortable and effective in a work from home environment. Relevant and fresh contacts within target markets. Proven track record of contributing to a company’s growth. Awareness of industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving market relationships. Team Player is a MUST!
