We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive to work in London with our Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) Team. The role This is a position for a Business Development (BD) professional who has a strong commercial focus. You need to be highly intelligent too and be nimble in your thinking. Ours is a fast paced and intellectually intense environment, where you always have to be on your toes and one step ahead.

Working with the M&BD Managers you will support BD activity for all our practice groups. You will also work closely with the team on firmwide projects and tasks. What’s in it for you? About you You don’t need to know about IP but it’s obviously an advantage. You don’t even have to have worked in a law firm, although of course this is useful. What you do need is to be commercial, dynamic and ambitious and want a role where you are part of a strong team that all muck in together to get the job done. You need to have ideas, take responsibility and be a good communicator. You will be part of a small team, and everyone supports each other. You will be able to navigate a complex and very intelligent environment and to be able to bring people with you. You will be commercially focused and think from a client’s perspective when managing tasks and consider the value that you can add in everything you do. You will be able to operate in a fast-paced environment, have excellent IT skills with experience of CRM systems and, ideally, HubSpot.
