Business Development Executive - VFX & Animation Glasgow Permanent Contract In-house, remote or hybrid Circa £65,000 Business Development Exec / Head of Growth Job Description: Our client is seeking a talented and highly motivated Business Development Executive to join their team. This brand-new role requires a candidate who is committed and courageous, eager to take the lead in establishing and implementing new processes. A deep understanding of the animation and VFX industry, a proven track record in business development, and a passion for building strong client relationships are essential. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth with a three-year roadmap in mind. The ideal candidate will have a positive and solution-oriented mindset, easily adapting to changing realities, and will be dedicated to pushing for and realising results. This role requires someone who is willing to take risks and experiment to achieve success. Key Responsibilities: Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the animation and VFX industry Analyse the competitive landscape and develop strategies to position our client as a leader in the market Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients, including production companies, studios, brands, and other relevant businesses Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and meetings and by truly understanding their needs and objectives Develop and deliver compelling presentations and competitive bid proposals by understanding client needs, budget constraints and creative requirements Strategic Partnerships & Networking: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that can enhance our clients' service offerings and market reach Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our client and expand professional networks Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets Negotiate contracts and close deals with new and existing clients Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the animation, VFX, or entertainment industry Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the animation and VFX market Has a positive and solution-oriented mindset and adapts easily to changing realities Has a desire to drive and realise results Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement A creative, friendly, and collaborative work environment
