The Business Development Lead will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing client base, supporting the UK and ROW business unit to achieve year on year growth in line with the company targets. The suitable candidate will have a proven track record of working within sales or business development role, preferably for a rental based company.

KEY ACTIVITIES & TASKS

• Identify new business opportunities with existing and new clients • Proactive business development to arrange meetings with potential customers • Handling enquiries, providing quotations with relevant technical and commercial documentation, following up and closing orders • Updating CRM to ensure accurate sales pipeline for forecasting • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients • Selling solutions by understanding client’s challenges • Keeping up to date on current industry trends, market activities and competitors • Developing and maintaining professional and technical knowledge • Gathering market and customer information • Attend operational meetings as required • Liaise closely with the operations team and finance to maintain accurate workflow • Identify customer's future requirements and communicating new business opportunities requiring product development to technical and marketing teams • Represent the company’s business policies in various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events to establish new relationships and attract more clients TRAINING & COMPETENCE

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION

Degree qualified preferred, minimum of 3 years in a BD/sales or commercial role SKILLS

Result focused Account management Driven by customer satisfaction and retention Ability to problem solve Ability to work in a team and initiative to work by themselves
