Business Development Lead - Life Sciences Automation Newton Colmore is working with a new biotech client in Cambridge, and we are assisting them in their search for a business development lead to help drive the growth of their latest automation product. Responsibilities: Develop the company's go-to-market strategy for a new product aimed at automating various processes across life sciences. Explore new applications for automation technology and utilize your network to expand the company's customer base. Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement business development strategies and targets. Set up new processes and potentially build a commercial team. This role is perfect for a candidate who enjoys working with a start-up and wants to make an impact in life sciences automation at the intersection of science and engineering. Qualifications: Commercially minded scientist with strong business development skills. Proven track record of identifying market opportunities and creating strategic partnerships within a biotech setting. Exposure to process development and/or cell and gene therapies is ideal, but candidates from different modalities are considered. The company is open-minded on seniority level and can modify the role to suit the right person's experience. The role will involve travel and will be based onsite in Cambridge for at least three days per week.
