THE ROLE As a Business Development Manager, you’ll manage and grow relationships with contractors and merchants while developing your skills in specification sales. This Scotland-based role, with a focus on the central belt, offers variety and challenges, including: Managing and growing a portfolio of merchant accounts to drive sales and enhance partnerships. Building strong relationships with contractors to support their project needs. Collaborating with architects and engineers to gain specification for products on new projects. Delivering presentations and CPD sessions to promote the company’s solutions. Working alongside a highly skilled technical team to provide outstanding customer support. ABOUT YOU You’re an ambitious professional with experience in contractor or merchant account management within the building materials sector. You might currently work for a merchant or a manufacturer and aspire to expand your expertise into specification sales. With a relationship-driven approach, you excel at building trust with clients and thrive in a role that offers variety and development opportunities.
