This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of the Local Business Sales department, nurturing and growing relationships with local businesses. This role is ideal for an experienced Fleet Sales Executive, B2B Sales Specialist, or Business Development Manager who thrives in a metrics-driven environment. A competitive Basic Salary of £25,000 with realistic OTE of £35,000 Monday – Friday work schedule with no weekend work Full training on Manufacturer CRM and EnquiryMax showroom systems Opportunity to work with a reputable, family-run business that values its staff Access to a company vehicle Duties of a Local Business Development Manager with our Client: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing local business customers Proactively identify and engage with new prospects, adding 20 new contacts per quarter to the system Organise and complete 36 appointments per quarter, ensuring professional customer interactions Arrange and conduct 24 test drives per quarter to showcase products to prospective clients Achieve both Manufacturer targets and internal customer satisfaction metrics Utilise the CRM and showroom systems to manage inquiries, track prospects, and report activity Work within CT postcodes, including the Faversham area, to grow the local business customer base What our client is looking for in a Local Business Development Manager: Motor trade experience preferred, particularly in Fleet, B2B, or Local Business Sales roles Strong ability to meet activity and performance targets, with a focus on unit-based commission Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to customer engagement Organisational skills to manage a demanding workload and meet quarterly metrics A full UK driving licence (preferably clean) This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a proven track record in business-to-business sales, looking to grow with a trusted family-run business.
