Business Development Manager Business Development Manager - CBD Oil - Remote - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + 40 Annual Leave The Job: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Business Development Manager with a background in chemistry or biochemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our analytical science testing services to clients in the CBD oil and health supplements sectors. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong sales acumen, along with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the CBD oil and health supplements sectors. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets and expand our client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Attend industry shows, conferences, and events to network with potential clients and promote our services. Utilise your knowledge of chemistry or biochemistry to communicate the benefits and technical aspects of our testing services to clients. Work closely with the technical team and scientists to ensure client requirements are met and projects are delivered to the highest standards. Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance against targets. The Candidate: Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the CBD oil, health supplements, or related sectors. Strong understanding of natural products chemistry and analytical science testing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry shows, and conferences. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
