Execution of the New Business and Cross-Sell strategy to drive commercial growth of the Consulting business division with a focus of winning new logos initially for JRP and C&P through building strategic relationships with existing and target clients. Develop high quality, commercially viable Building advisory solutions that are successful in winning new business. The role will be a combination of proactive sales methodologies, such as relationship building and prospecting, as well as reactive opportunity management through the completion of tenders and working with the existing bid team. As a Business Development Manager with John Rowan & Partners, you’ll do it by… Developing and managing strategic relationships with target clients identified in new business strategy and client relationship model. Supporting existing strategic relationships, with a view to understanding needs and strategy and how cross-selling will aid/strengthen relationships. Bringing on focused new logos for JRP and C&P building advisory using data, CRM and Market insights. Building and utilising existing cross business relationships to maximise cross selling opportunities. Meeting with customers/clients face to face, Phone and via TEAMs. Designing and developing differentiated client value propositions and process solutions. Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, capturing all activity and progress in the HubSpot CRM system to enable transparent analysis of business development performance and prioritisation of time and resources. Monthly Pipeline reporting and forecasting. Leading client sales meetings using knowledge and expertise of colleagues to effectively demonstrate capability and potential of Bellrock products/services. Leading negotiations and managing the deal-making process for bids, strategic partnerships, and other new business opportunities. Tracking and managing tenders through defined procurement timescales, responding to client information requests and coordinating contribution from internal stakeholders accordingly. Building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support the sales process from initial contact, initial proposal strategy, bid development, through to mobilisation and initial performance. Maintaining a deep knowledge understanding of the Building advisory and Bellrock consultancy competitors, ensuring solution design is aligned with new technology and service delivery trends. What does it take? If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Business Development Manager - Consulting, you’ll need… Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Masters degree desirable) Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles, preferably in construction and property services Strong track record of driving profitable revenue growth and achieving business targets. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Paddington Office and two days a week with the team, and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
