The role The Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the branch sales targets through the implementation of key strategies associated with the expansion of the Automated Logic Brand within Australia. This role involves working closely with all customers, including Automated Logic End Users, Mechanical Contractors, and Builders. Key Responsibilities: Relationship management, existing system equipment lifecycle / asset management, solution / consultative selling, and understanding and tracking End User investment / expansion strategies. Estimate and provide professional submissions. Identify and convert new opportunities for total solutions / product sales. Provide total BMCS, MSI, system solutions, and promote Automated Logic’s capabilities and extensive product range. Continue to build strong relationships with new and potential clients. Provide regular updates to the General Manager with client and industry feedback. Requirements: Experience within a similar role. Previous experience with estimating and providing submissions. Knowledge of building automation technologies and designs. Experience leading a sales team and proven success in previous sales roles. Ability to develop and implement budgets. Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to sell and develop commercial contracts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
