About the Business Development Manager role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our growing team on a full or part-time basis. In this role, you will collaborate with our sales and marketing team to identify and secure new business opportunities, nurture

existing client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our company. Responsibilities as our Business Development Manager will include: Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities:

Research and engage potential clients and markets to drive business growth for IS Group and WAY2GO. Architectural and Design Knowledge:

Familiarity with the design process, architects' and designers' needs, and the challenges they face in specifying signage. Manage Sales Process:

Oversee lead generation, clarify client requirements and budgets, and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline using our MIS software. Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, presenting our products and services to meet their needs. Proposal and Tender Management:

Prepare and manage client proposals, ensuring compliance with quality procedures, and respond to tenders and information requests promptly. Sales Forecasting:

Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to forecast sales targets and work towards achieving them. Marketing Support:

Contribute to marketing efforts by posting articles on social media and maintaining a professional LinkedIn profile. Sales Targets:

Initial annual target of £500,000 in sales orders within company profit margins, comprising a mix of account management and new business development. What we’re looking for in our Business Development Manager: Proven experience in specification & technical sales within the signage, print, digital or related B2B sectors. Demonstrated success in developing business with new and existing clients. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets with good negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor presentations to a technical audience. Strong analytical and numerical abilities. The ability to confidently present IS Group's and WAY2GO products and services to client such as but not limited too as architects and designers, highlighting the benefits and value proposition. This will also involve CPD sessions. A willingness to attend industry events (trade shows, conferences) to network with potential clients The ability to identify and solve customer problems creatively. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (production, design, etc.) to ensure project success. Experience with social media marketing to connect with clients online.
