What the job is all about: Key contact to the sales team for Hyperconverged Solutions questions and sales support Work with Ross’ team to: negotiate and close sales Help train sales team in being able to differentiate HCS products with emphasis on Hyperconverged vs. standalone products Help train SA’s, sales, and partners to position RFP’s and projects to require Hyperconverged enabled products Deliver sales presentations to clients and re-sellers Help sales, partners, and customers be able to “sell up” to decision makers across levels to the value of Hyperconverged products Build relationships with end users by calling on customer facilities directly to promote Ross products Develop long term opportunities to ensure healthy pipeline growth Market development for HCS products and Ross Video generally across new geographic and vertical markets Work with other BDM’s, Director of Business Development, and Product Managers to map out and define new long term vertical markets and their requirements Provide feedback to both Product Management, TPM leadership, and R&D on market and customer feedback via trip reports and regular direct engagement Work directly with Product Managers to prepare and maintain competitive analysis documentation for the product lines and other collateral documents as required Attendance at key tradeshows throughout the year Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition Prepare and deliver sales training Work with HCS Product Managers and Solutions Architects to help create material- white papers, case studies, etc Follow company policies and procedures Perform other related duties as required Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field preferred 5+ years of sales and/or product management experience with experience in a leadership position preferred Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills at the executive level Ability to understand complex and nuanced customer requirements and map potential HCS solutions to them Success closing large, complex sales in terms of dollar value and using multiple channels Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong business acumen Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office productivity suite Understanding of the Broadcast / Media Technology, especially as it relates to Connectivity, Signal Processing, and Monitoring Existing knowledge and use of Ross Video products, or experience selling hardware and software-based technology Knowledge of Major Broadcast Standards Strong Organizational Skills Maintain a working knowledge of all Ross Video products Positive Determined Passionate about Ross Video solutions High Tolerance of Ambiguity Attention to Detail Team Oriented Organized Willing to Travel up to 25-50% of the time Valid Passport Valid Driver’s License Equity, Diversity & Inclusion At Ross, we embrace diversity, and we want you to bring your authentic self to work.
