About our Team

LexisNexis Risk Solutions are offering an exciting opportunity to join the high performing EMEA Sales team as a Business Development Manager. This new role has been especially created to focus on the growing market across Italy.

About the Role

The role will be focused on new business, with accountability to secure revenue from existing accounts and new prospects. This person should be goal orientated and comfortable working within a high pressured and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Taking ownership of their business and market developing a strategy, understanding the ICP, the problems being faced and their impact.

Prospecting new logos (over the phone, online and attending events in person)

Identifying upsells and cross sells in the existing client base

Working in partnership with other Business Development Managers to increase the utilisation of our products

Forecasting accurately using SalesForce

Exceeding quarterly new business targets

Requirements

Have a proven track record of closing new business (ideally software and data)

Have understanding of SAAS industry

Have value-based selling experience

Have knowledge of SalesForce

Experience of networking and speaking at events

Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Experience of a proven sales methodology (e.g. SPIN, Insight Selling)
