Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager will play a vital role in driving our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and expanding our client base in the commercial office fit-out sector. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development or someone with relevant industry experience ready to take on new challenges and help us grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research to drive revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the project management and design teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services to clients.

Proposal Development:

Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition to prospective clients.

Networking:

Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and expand our professional network.

Reporting:

Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and market insights to the senior management team.

Qualifications:

The salary is broad as they are open to considering Business Development Managers with a couple of years experience and will also consider seasoned veterans with proven industry experience able to hit the ground running.

Proven industry experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the commercial fit-out industry.

Strong understanding of the design and build process and commercial office fit-out market.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment while managing multiple priorities.

Relevant degree or certification in business, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
