Date: 17 Jan 2025 Location: London MISSION The Business Development Manager supports ASEM in delivering on the overall area strategy by acting as a best practice expert and coach to deliver exceptional service, supporting store managers in driving key commercial and education KPI’s, to ensure operational excellence and the activation and execution of brand program across the area. Additionally, the coordinator may be required to lead new store opening and regional projects where necessary. ORGANISATION Reports to: Area Sales and Education Manager Job Location: Field Contract type: Permanent MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES SALES PERFORMANCE Supports ASEM to execute the Area strategy Manage the brand and retailer event program across the Area, through planning, execution and reporting, ensuring full analysis of sales results and consumer engagement Coach & support Business Manager to achieve store business plans by driving agreed objectives alongside them offering expertise and identifying opportunities Ensure the delivery of Retail Artist coaching plan and support the Account Manager development as appropriate in line with sales and education objectives. Work alongside store teams to identify opportunities and give in the moment effective feedback and coaching to reach commercial goals. Complete store visit form, reviewing performance and opportunity, and applauding success. In store follow up from the national training program - both new starter training and seasonal, as well new product launch training. Retail reporting, summarising performance, action taken and objectives for following month and quarter. In store support days, leading from the front by example. May be required to cover Business Manager vacancy for A* store doors deemed as business critical if necessary CUSTOMER SERVICES Coach customer engagement and service program to instore teams with the objective of NARS exceptional customer experience. Coach Artists in the art of customer behaviours and consumer trend Ensure best practice and counter standards are met to ensure the customer experience Customer first approach always OPERATIONS Support the ASEM with effective communications of company policy and process Effective rota planning with the Business and Account Managers to maximise profitability in our accounts, weight of day and productivity per artists KPIs Supports the ASEM with recruitment for the area, ensuring that process and policy is adhered to. Including store approval appointments, trade tests and all admin process completed with accuracy. Stock file management in collaboration with BM or AM, will have a good understanding of retailer stock file systems and will ensure stock accuracy to maximise sales potential. Responsible for management of POSM including collateral, testers, and consumables are used responsibly with sustainability policy and costs effective measures are adhered to. Tracking and analysis of program i.e. VM, dramming, TOA Store maintenance reporting and tracking Administrative tasks as required, sales reports, HR documentation PROFILE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Previous experience of working within the retail and beauty industry preferable Discreet and maintain confidentiality at all times Ability to function in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance & grooming standards represent brand grooming guidelines Goal oriented with a successful sales record. Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner. Coaching and people development skills Flexible working days as and when business or retail partner requires, including weekend and evenings. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to analyse and report figures. Lives on the area within a reasonable commute. Demonstrated growth through effective business planning, identified and maximised opportunity in local market. Proven people development including that of a Manager. Experience of managing a large team Have implemented and coaching and development plan for people with demonstrated results Basic HR policy and process experience, RTW, ROC, investigations etc.. Recruitment – screening, interviewing leading to hire demonstrating the ability to spot talent.
