Business Development Manager (Security Solutions) - South Salary:
Up to £55,000 + Car + Comm OTE £80k Year 1 per year Palmer McCarthy have been retained by a growing and established Security Solutions business to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to cover the South of the UK. This newly created position reports to the Managing Director and will work closely with the wider Solutions and Regional Operations team. This role would suit candidates who have a background within the Security industry and who are eager to take on this role and make it their own. The main focus will be generating business from existing clients and new business with a large pipeline of incoming enquiries. Any experience within Protective Security Personnel, Mobile Patrol, Keyholding, Response, Canine, Vacant Property and Security Technology solutions would be an advantage. This is a regional field-based opportunity, so travel around the South East + London will be part of the role. Your location will need to be south of Milton Keynes to allow monthly regional office visits (City of London or Kent). business development
experience (whilst security industry experience would be great, it is not a necessity). This means that you will be able to strategically focus on relevant vertical markets, identify decision makers, and develop opportunities. You will be supported by an SEO/Social media function, but you will guide them to relevant contacts within your dedicated sectors. At interview, you will demonstrate your eagerness to progress and a desire to invest time in training and develop new ways of doing business development. Your previous experience will mean you will know what a relevant lead looks like, establish rapport quickly, and spot what a client wants to solution sell what a client needs.
