We are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with a solid & proven background in international cross-border experience gained within the Logistics industry. Responsible for the generation of new business nationally, the BDM will:
- Introduce Spring’s products and services to potential customers through telephone calling, trade shows or personal visits within an agreed call cycle.
- Identify, research, investigate and close new accounts throughout the UK
- Build pipeline of potential clients including expected spend levels
- Work effectively within the sales team to maximise sales opportunities and revenue, and grow profit margin year on year.
- Make qualified visits to prospective customers using effective route planning and time management.
- Manage new business accounts effectively and record all contact/information on relevant system/s
