We are working with one of our prestigious market-leading clients to recruit a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding our market presence in the residual value based funding solutions for IT. Our client has developed a wide range of technology-based finance products and additional value-added services needed to deploy remote workers’ technology to help build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with their clients and have become a trusted partner as well as a financial services supplier to them. The Opportunity The successful candidates will be joining the business at an exciting and challenging time, during which their participation and success will fundamentally sculpt the business’s future development. Outline of Role: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in designated markets and sectors Build recurrent new business with newly won and existing clients Organise regular review meetings, telephone calls and Teams calls with clients Identify opportunities to provide new funding and services Value propositions and advise clients on various services including Managed Services, IT Support, Subscriptions, IT Asset Management, IT Procurement, 2nd life, End of lease Update CRM with new contacts, new opportunities Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing arrangements to ensure mutually advantageous outcomes for both parties Work closely with our Tech Service team for the supply of new and 2nd Life products Liaise with Customer Services team around contract inquiries Work with our End of Lease team to identify new / refresh business Experience The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ Business Development experience, ideally with an understanding of technology sales and services. Key Skills : Self-motivated, Self-disciplined, Entrepreneurial individual Converse with confidence with both finance and IT departments Energetic, enthusiastic, with excellent attention to detail, good time management, and is well organised. Experience in articulating the benefits of leasing to a prospective client, however, training will be provided in the most successful way to introduce, propose, and close the sale of our client’s funding and service solutions. The directors and management team have a wealth of experience of residual value-based leasing solutions, IT managed services, and knowledge of technology and will actively mentor, as required, new employees to help them succeed in this role. £70,000 – £80,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits.
