This opportunity is working for the Access Control Business Unit where a broad range of products and services are designed in order to help in shaping the future of people flow management. Role Overview Reporting directly into the UK Head of Sales, you will own the business in your assigned postcodes. You will have a ‘hunter’ mentality and be proactive in looking for new business opportunities as well as receiving internal enquiries in your area. You will be responsible for winning your own business, with technical support available to assist you. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company going through a period of immense growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Build, develop, qualify, and close the pipeline of new business opportunities in the UK. Maintain and develop a client hunting list, pipeline, and sales plan. Ensure the assigned annual sales plan for the role is achieved. Nurture and develop relationships with existing clients. Understand and act upon cross-selling opportunities. Deliver advanced solution presentations to prospective customers. Understand and monitor market trends and competitor activity. Communicate directly with Managers about opportunities and issues. Attend trade shows and exhibitions. Travel is required. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years’ sales experience. Energy and a 'hunter' mentality. A good understanding of sales cycles. Experience dealing with Developers, Architects, and Contractors. A willingness to take risks and learn from failure. A team player mentality. The ability to forecast and close opportunities. Skills and Experience Required The candidate should possess: A proven background utilizing a consultative sales approach. Strong business acumen. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365. Demonstrable experience in the Access Control industry.
