Business Development Manager

to join our UK team. Reporting into our founding Director, Mohammed Rahman, you will be responsible for driving business growth by recruiting food operators to become Dish’d franchise partners. What will you do? Recruit Halal food operators by responding to ‘warm’ leads, cold calling, networking and through multi-channel marketing. Identify and prospect leads and potential corporate partners within the food and beverage sector. Manage your pipeline from pitching our model to closing the deal through phone calls, face-to-face and/or virtual meetings, to sign-up new operators (restaurants, takeaways and dark kitchens) who will operate our brands from their existing kitchens. Use our CRM system to effectively manage your pipeline and give visibility to the wider team of your progress. Gather competitor intelligence and be our eyes and ears on the ground to influence business strategy. Maintain a strong working relationship with the wider operational team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for franchise partners. Get up to speed quickly with our model, to deliver 4+ franchise partners per month once fully onboarded. Support broader commercial and operational activities of the business as required. Experience & Skills required: Completely fluent in English – written and spoken. 2+ years of sales experience, preferably from within the food and beverage sector. Drive and energy required to close deals (whilst maintaining quality standards). Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently always adhering to agreed processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
