Business Development Operations manager-Preclinical, Drug Discovery and CMCLOCATION: HOME BASED (UK-Europe) We are looking for:Business Development Operations- As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Operations Manager- Preclinical, Drug Discovery and CMC to primarily be responsible for the support of the Business Development (BD) Team with regard to client interaction and tracking for established clients. They also serve as a point of communication with all Pharmaron service area operations teams to ensure a positive client experience and business continuity.At Pharmaron we offer:Vibrant and dynamic employment – we are a highly specialised, growth company operating in a critical sector of the economy – our future is strong and exciting!Opportunities to develop your skills and yourself – our rapid growth brings greater opportunities for you to learn and grow faster!A great team where we all support each other – enjoy your work – after all you spend about a third of your time here!Requirements:Minimum MSc in life science, PhD preferred Background in chemistry, biology or similar Ability and drive to grow the business with existing mature accountsExperience as account Manager would be preferredCRO and client facing experience required Minimal travelling required to assist the BDs in occasional client meetings and/or events BD Support:Quote and opportunity generation, updates/modifications, follow-up, and trackingTracking and announcement of purchase orders (POs)Monitor open POs for budget limits and increases.Assist in generating client agreements (CDA, MSA, etc.) Primary focus on renewalsCan assist with initial generation of documents as needed Inform BD on the collaboration status or any operational challenges.Salesforce Support:Ensure opportunities are entered into Salesforce correctly.Maintain and update opportunities to ensure that all information is accurate.Ensure documentation to support closed opportunities is in Salesforce.Review sales and opportunities dashboards and provide feedback to BD DP&C team and other stakeholders.Client Specialist:Create and maintain account summary and account snapshot slides for accounts:Key stakeholders (at Pharmaron and at client)Ongoing projectsFunding newsStrategyCoordinate and attend client collaboration meetings.Document and report meeting minutesPharmaron/ Client Liaison:Communicate directly with Client and Pharmaron stakeholders to ensure efficient communication of project scope, progress and resolution of project concerns.Serve as an “overall” Pharmaron contact who can connect Client to appropriate Pharmaron resources as needed.Be aware of Client pipeline and development status and be able to recommend next reasonable services from Pharmaron.Work with logistics teams to coordinate the transfer of compounds internally between Pharmaron services.
