As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Opus 2, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and engaging potential clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and collaborating with the sales team to close deals. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for achieving sales targets. What you'll be doing Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events. Outreach: Reach out to potential clients via email, phone calls, and social media to introduce Opus 2 and our solutions. Qualification: Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and timeline to ensure alignment with our offerings. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients, addressing their questions and concerns effectively. Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings, demonstrations, and presentations with qualified leads. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and progress in our CRM system. Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversion. Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities. What we're looking for in you A degree or equivalent experience required. Highly proficient in spoken and written English. Engaging, energetic and coachable communicator with a keen interest in sales and/or marketing Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Agile learners – ability to learn something new. Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer’s workday. Strong customer service and organisation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate, persuade and influence diverse stakeholder groups. A team player able to work collaboratively and in a complex matrix environment. Results focused and self-motivating. Amenable to work onsite for the first 3 months and on the days the business will require you to do so.
