Job Mission Technology development centers and training and application facilities are located in Asia, Europe and the United States. The Manufacturing Operations in Wilton Connecticut is responsible for the production of lithography tools and optical fabrication as well as purchasing and logistics. This position is based in the Plans and Controls group within the manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut. Job Responsibilities Developing models for capacity in assembly and fabrication. Working with production and engineering to create long term capacity plans for increasing equipment/tooling to meet projected output demand. (33%) Develop and track manpower requirements, status and output to meet financial goals for Module Assembly and Optical Fabrication. (66%) Modeling includes: Using Tecnomatix Plant Software to model lean cells and identify true statistical throughput of existing facilities (tooling, ovens, assembly, machining, inspection, etc). Identify bottleneck items, work with Production Engineering to propose capital expenditure to increase capacity and quantify each capacity increase. Assist with creating the business case for new purchases. Education Bachelor of Science in Business Systems & Analytics or Engineering (Mechanical, Optical or Industrial preferred), or equivalent experience. Experience 0-7 years experience in manufacturing. Advanced computer skills and data analysis skills. Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Modeling software experience. Ability to work independently on long term projects. Ability to work hands-on in a factory to understand drivers for performance. Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience. SAP, Tableau, or SpotFire experience. Tecnomatix Plant Simulation Software a plus. Solid communication skills with a multinational workforce. Willingness to travel internationally. Personal Skills Curiosity. Assertive with solid communication skills. Eager to learn. Able to adapt quickly. Analytical.
