These roles could be based in our Birmingham offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

Salary and benefits:

The role

We are currently recruiting for a Business Finance Analyst to join our Finance Operations team to assist in the provision of professional accountancy and/or finance analysis service by executing specific and regular finance processes to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory, reputational, and commercial requirements.

You will be responsible for:

Supporting the ongoing delivery of robust, effective and efficient operational finance processes and controls.

Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and processes and maintaining evidence/audit trail as required.

Completing specific standard accountancy and/or analytical functions (including producing financial reports - performance, TBs, controls and OSP oversight, providing analysis of data, statutory reporting, etc).

Undertaking analysis of a range of business data and reports to assist the manager in assessing the commercial viability and tax efficiency of proposed business strategies.

What are we looking for?

Experience of working in an Accounting team in financial services with a good level of accounting knowledge.

Strong Excel skills.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.

Proactive and organized, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified / Part Qualified Accountancy qualification would be advantageous.
