The post holder will support the Business Intelligence Lead Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager to manage the Information functions within the Business Intelligence Team. They will ensure that the day to day information and reporting priorities of the Patient Care and Safety function, through the Business Intelligence Team, are delivered efficiently and effectively in a timely manner. Main duties of the job

The post-holder will support the Business Intelligence Lead Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager in the administration of the Information functions within the Business Intelligence Team. This includes contributing to the development, management and maintenance of the Concerns, Safety and Risk Management systems (Datix Web and Datix Cymru) across all modules for the Health Board in relation to information data collection, extraction and reporting. They will form part of an analytical team, ensuring that the team's day to day priorities are delivered efficiently and effectively in a timely manner. The post holder will support the delivery of the team objectives by ensuring statutory and mandatory requirements are delivered, producing innovative presentation of information, efficient completion of reports in an accurate and concise format and monitoring of performance against local and national targets for services being delivered. They will contribute to the effective administration of a Health Board wide reporting system in relation to Concerns, Safety and Risk management data to meet the Strategic needs of the organisation. The post holder will be a Health Board subject matter expert resource on the Concerns, Safety and Risk Management systems across all modules in relation to information data collection, extraction and reporting. Qualifications and Knowledge

Educated to HND level or equivalent skills, experience or knowledge. Advanced keyboard skills for the interrogation and manipulation of data in complex databases. Demonstrate confidence in using figures with sound analytical skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams. Effective time management & organisational skills. Knowledge and Understanding of the NHS and Putting Things Right. Understanding of Datix Cymru and Datix Web. Experience

Multi-professional team working. Experience of supporting a Corporate function. Experience of building and maintaining robust, effective, professional relationships and networks across a wide range of professions and organisations. Experience in the processing of data and information and the statistical analysis, preferably in a health care setting. Ability to prepare and produce data in a visual format. NHS experience. Experience of partnership working. Skills and Attributes

Ability to work as a member of a team or on own initiative. Be comfortable training staff in all levels of organisation. Ability to deal with non-routine issues and solve problems. Ability to assess complicated information; recognising key issues in complex cases immediately; making reasoned decisions on the evidence provided and planning work accordingly. Evidence of excellent verbal, presentation IT and report writing skills. Ability to use electronic document management system. Able to prioritise own work to meet tight deadlines and targets. Excellent organisational skills and time management skills. Able to deliver against objectives and deadlines, achieving quality outcomes with particular attention to detail. Ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, Directors and Independent Board Members. Ability to communicate with staff at all levels within and outside the organisation. Ability to demonstrate negotiation and influencing skills in a manner appropriate to a complex and sensitive environment. Able to use informed persuasion to influence others, including Senior NHS staff. Other Role Requirements

Welsh Speaker (Level 1) or willingness to work towards achieving this level. Stays calm under pressure. Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Be able to travel between Health Board sites in a timely manner. Able to work hours flexibly. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
