We are looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic analyst to lead the University’s business intelligence (BI) service. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the service, including creating a new BI strategy for the University. This will ensure that the service can support the University’s strategic and operational decision-making process in an optimal way, responding to a rapidly changing planning environment within the Higher Education sector. The postholder will work closely with colleagues from across the University providing valuable and timely information – this could be in the form of regular monitoring of key performance indicators, trend analyses, deep dive dissection and analysis of data sets or leading the development of new data dashboard models. To be successful, you need to demonstrate excellent data analytical skills, with the ability to organise and analyse complex data and information and present this in a clear and concise format for a diverse audience. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose solutions are essential together with advanced IT and well-developed written and oral communication skills. Salary: From £46,485 to £55,295 per annum, rising to between £46,735 and £55,755 per annum from 1st March 2025
