Business Intelligence Partner

to join their busy Team. This post will work to support the portfolio of the Acute Mental Health Services Directorate. Works to support the trust in the development and co-ordination of performance and business management processes to ensure comprehensive service performance monitoring and development. A key member supporting their assigned operations directorate Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to produce effective performance reports to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Main duties of the job

Promote awareness of national and local targets. Develop and deliver reporting mechanisms to support the trust objectives. To analyse performance data and advise accordingly. To establish relevant communication at all levels of service management to enable collection of robust data, and to ensure sufficient understanding to support compliance with statutory requirements. Support the design, production and delivery of business reports to the Trust. Undertake and support audits as requested. Support the process of service development initiatives and Cost Improvement Programmes. About us

Training, Qualifications and Registration

Degree qualification in Business or equivalent. Post Grad Diploma in Business Management or equivalent. 3 years Post Grad work experience. ECDL or equivalent. Additional advanced IT related qualification. Experience

Experience of implementing performance management mechanisms and business cases. Experience of working in a commissioning or contracting environment. Experience of working within Health Service or Local Authority Management Systems. Experience of SPSS or similar statistical modelling software. Experience working with SQL databases. Knowledge and Skills

Use of technology in qualitative and quantitative analyses of performance data. Ability to manage competing demands and priorities. Interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in relation to communicating sensitive or contentious information. Advanced problem-solving, logical and lateral thinking skills. Tenacious and motivated individual. Ability to work on own initiative with minimum guidance. Ability to work flexibly as agreed with Line Manager. Ability to communicate and simplify complex information in a clear and understandable way to all levels within the organisation. Understanding of equalities issues. Able to travel to services within assigned Directorate for meetings in-person. Broad understanding of the NHS and Mental Health Services. General understanding of health economics and NHS data flows. Familiarity with business partnerships. Knowledge of data visualisation techniques. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
