What you'll do
Reporting to the Manager, City Assets, as our Business Lead Asset Management you will be responsible for leading the Asset Management team and overseeing management of the City of West Torrens Asset Management function, including the delivery of Asset Management Plans, management of asset data and systems, and development of forward works programs in line with Council's strategic objectives.
Overseeing an asset portfolio valued at around $1 billion, you will have an ability to think flexibly, innovatively and creatively, whilst working autonomously to ensure assets are maintained at an optimal level.
Who you are
If you are solution focused, know how to build relationships, have highly developed verbal and written communication skills and have proven experience in an asset management leadership role within local government, we would like to hear from you.
You must also have the following essential qualifications, experience and documents:
Formal tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Engineering, Financial Management, or related field with extensive relevant experience
Proven experience in asset management within a local government environment
Class C Driver's licence
National police clearance (within six months of issue - or willingness to obtain one)
