Business Objects Report Writer (with Pentaho & CMDB Experience) London/Birmingham-Hybrid Working Must have financial services experience Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Business Objects Report Writer with expertise in Pentaho and CMDB to join a dynamic team within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing reports in Business Objects, as well as hands-on experience working with Pentaho and CMDB systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Business Objects reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality and accurate data presentation. Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective report solutions. Leverage Pentaho and CMDB to gather and analyze data, producing actionable insights. Collaborate with technical teams to integrate data from various sources and maintain accurate reporting structures. Ensure reports are aligned with industry standards and regulations specific to financial services. Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for report-related issues. Strong experience working with Business Objects for report writing and data analysis. Hands-on experience with Pentaho and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) tools. Solid background in the financial services industry, with an understanding of regulatory requirements and data compliance. Proven ability to translate business requirements into data-driven reporting solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with additional reporting tools and data visualization platforms. Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
