Are you a highly organised professional with experience in Business Operations ideally in a Higher Education setting? Do you have outstanding organisation, written and verbal communication? If so, Signature Recruitment is looking for a Business Operations Manager to join a team in a prestigious higher education establishment in London. This six-month full-time role offers the benefit of a hybrid working model. After the first week onsite, you will work two days a week in the office, and the balance from home. As Business Operations Manager, you will manage key operational functions across five departments. The role focuses on assisting with business support projects. You will be providing strategic, financial, and resource support to the Department Heads, while also leading a team of support staff. Business Operations Manager Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day to day business operations tasks relating to finance, HR, space and health and safety as well as other operational projects. Acting as the first point of contact for all operational queries. Ensuring these are actioned and resolved in a timely manner and escalated as necessary. Managing administrative support staff. Leading on financial processes, including managing budgets and expenditure, implementing efficiency savings, coordinating with accountants, and leading local financial audits. Assisting with managing various HR processes, including recruitment, induction, and training process for new staff and ensuring space and equipment needs are met. Administering local space and infrastructure matters, ensuring issues are reported, actioned and resolved. Assisting with Health and Safety protocols and guidance. Business Operations Manager Key Skills:

Experience within Business Operations Management including demonstrable experience in organising and leading teams – ideally in an educational setting. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and manage diverse stakeholders, working collaboratively with good negotiation skills. Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask whilst maintaining high attention to detail. Highly proficient IT skills including the Microsoft Suite and other Databases.
