Competitive compensation and benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, senior individual to provide financial leadership across the UK & Ireland business division of this high profile, international chemical products business. This role will support the further growth and development of this highly successful business by securing full involvement of sales, marketing and the UK & Ireland leadership team. The organisation manufactures and markets a wide range of materials to Agricultural markets which require constant and effective business modelling, economic and cost analysis to deliver sales growth in a highly competitive market. Our client, one of the leading companies in its field, strives to combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility, enabling customers to meet both the current and future needs of society.

Reporting to the UK based Head of Business Excellence, the appointee will have previous experience of working within a corporate “matrix structure” managing, delivering and reporting a highly effective, commercially-minded finance function. With responsibility for sales forecasting, monitoring and analysis, this role requires the individual to be focused on doing business, making profit and building both internal and external relationships with suppliers, customers and the organisation. Cultural fit, professionalism, and proactivity will all be of paramount importance to this appointment along with a high aptitude for the digital toolkit and the desire to embrace new technologies. Requiring excellent communication at all levels, this is a strategic and influential role, and the right individual will enjoy contributing to the overall long-term development of the organisation.

Candidates, ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent in a finance or analytical discipline, will demonstrate a track record of inspirational leadership, strategic thinking, strong teamwork, a high level of integrity and a desire to build strong relationships both internally and externally. Experienced in leading commercially minded teams, and with a track record of successful organisational development, the appointee will demonstrate drive, tenacity, ‘presence’ and strong financial awareness coupled with exemplary communication, data management & presentation skills. Listening, influencing and negotiation will all be key competencies along with effective analysis and decision-making skills, and a positive, enthusiastic outlook which will engage others to deliver exceptional results.

Interested applicants should send a detailed CV and covering letter quoting current package and reference 2302/web to 2302@transitionplus.co.uk or for an initial confidential discussion, please call Steve Bennett at Tel: +44 (0) 1270 875710.
